Inward FDI flow in Africa 2017-2022, by region

North Africa registered the highest value of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) flows into Africa in 2022. The region received roughly 15 billion U.S. dollars in FDI inflow. East Africa followed, with approximately 8.7 billion U.S. dollars. Overall, FDI flows into Africa was measured at nearly 44.93 billion U.S. dollars in the same year.
