According to a survey on subscription video-on-demand (SvoD) conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2024 in Vietnam, content variety was the leading reason for subscribing to SvoD services among Vietnamese subscribers, as stated by 61 percent of the respondents. Meanwhile, 40 percent of them stated that they subscribed to these services because they wanted to enjoy content without advertisements.
