According to a survey on subscription video on demand (SvoD) conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2024, approximately 61 percent of Indonesian respondents between 25 and 34 years stated that they subscribed to such services. The same survey also found that the leading reason for subscribing to SvoD services was that it offered a larger variety of content than cable and satellite TV.
