When asked about the job they aspire to do at age 30, over 20 percent young people in Nigeria pointed out trader, businessman or businesswoman. Other jobs such as doctors and engineers were somewhat popular as well. However, there were significant differences based on the gender and economic background of respondents. In terms of gender differences, the largest disparities were recorded among jobs such as nurse, soldier, tailor, teacher, and engineer.
