Main source of money of youths in Nigeria 2021, by gender

According to a survey conducted in Nigeria in 2021, the main source of income of young people were either their regular job or family's money. There is a considerable gender difference between the main source of money of males and females. About 57 percent of male respondents could rely on their regular job. On the contrary, around 50 percent of female respondents declared that their money was mainly coming from their parents or their family, while only 35 percent of them could rely on their job as main source of income.
