Sources of new music artists discovered by Gen Zs Philippines 2021
According to a survey on audio listenership in April 2021 in the Philippines, the majority of Gen Z respondents stated that they were more likely to have discovered a new music artist through social media. In comparison, 15 percent of Gen Z respondents said that they discovered new artists from an artist they already know or listened to while eight percent discovered new artists from a movie or TV show.
