Willingness to reduce meat consumption in Europe to combat climate change 2020
In 2020, 55 percent of respondents from the European Union and the UK said they would eat less meat when they were informed of the environmental impacts of livestock production. Despite livestock production being a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, 32 percent of respondents said they were not prepared to eat less meat.
