In 2023, the size of China’s functional foods market scaled at around 328.2 billion yuan, showing an increase from 289.8 billion yuan in the year prior. With an increasing disposable income and awareness of healthy lifestyle, the desire for a balanced and healthy diet expanded rapidly in recent years.
