According to a survey conducted in December 2020, more than 74 percent of the respondents in Japan thought that translation is a suitable field for the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI), making it the leading field in this regard. It was followed by manufacturing, care and welfare, as well as transport, while the highest skepticism was shown in the case of art and employment decisions.
