Share of raw sugar export from Eswatini 2019, by country of destination
As of 2018/2019, raw sugar exports from Eswatini were mainly directed towards the Southern African Customs Union with a share of 64.2 percent. Moreover, Italy and China followed with a share of 10.5 and 8.4 percent of the total sugar exports, respectively. Two other African countries were among the leading importers of sugar from Eswatini, namely, Kenya and Botswana.
