Production of vegetable oil in Sub-Saharan Africa 2007-2029
In the period between 2017 and 2019, the average volume of vegetable oil production in Sub-Saharan Africa amounted to roughly 6.9 million metric tons. Compared to a decade prior, the volume of production of vegetable oil incremented by close to 2.2 million metric tons. Furthermore, it is projected that by 2029, the production of vegetable oil in the sub-region will continue to increase, reaching around 8.1 million metric tons.
