In 2022, instant noodles in bags accounted for almost 83 percent of the domestic consumption of instant noodles in Thailand. Despite being one of the go-to foods for lower-income earners, the sales of such products eroded. This was following the higher price set by the manufacturers due to the surging of wheat flour cost.
