According to a July 2021 survey of NHS COVID-19 app users in Great Britain, 62 percent of all respondents currently have their Bluetooth or contact tracing turned on and always leave it on. While eight in ten respondents aged 65 and above reported having the contact tracing function on their NHS apps always on, younger users reported being more likely to have this function turned off. In the youngest measured age group, about 31 percent of app users had turned the contact tracing function off.
