Distribution of smart production systems in China 2019
As of 2019, smart assembly systems accounted for the largest revenue share of smart manufacturing applications in China at almost 44 percent. The total market value of the smart manufacturing industry amounted to 142 billion yuan in the same year. A higher reliance on highly automated production processes is going to be the future in the manufacturing industry. With its investments into the industry, China tries to spearhead this new industrial revolution.
