Since 2018, the number of drug trafficking cases closed increased considerably, peaking at over 8.3 thousand drug-related crimes solved in 2022. However, the number of pending cases increased as well. As a result, DIICOT registered over 21.1 thousand drug trafficking pending cases over the last year.
