In 2020, during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, 54 percent of Poles surveyed reported that their appointments had been canceled or put on hold, 40 percent said it was only possible to contact a doctor by phone or online, where nearly 30 percent cited a problem with closed facilities.
