Number of active internet users in India 2017-2025

As a country with 1,433 million population, in 2020, India has around 622 million active internet users. It was estimated that in 2025, number of active internet users would surpass 900 million in the country. Although there was a gap between the percentage of urban and rural active internet users, it has been narrowing down with development.
