Use of contraception methods in China 1982-2017
As of 2017, around 84.5 percent of Chinese women between 15 and 49 years old were using contraceptives, slightly lower than 86.8 percent in 2015. The prevalence of contraceptive use peaked in 1994 when the implementation of the one-child policy strengthened nationwide.
