In 2021, many consumers in the United States valued promotions when shopping for school supplies. During 2021's back-to-school shopping season, approximately 45 percent of U.S. shoppers found attached great importance to product promotions, which is an increase of about 20 percent compared to the previous year. The only factor to trump promotions in terms of importance was price.
