Number of students from West Africa in Egypt 2016, by country
As of 2016, students from West African countries in Egypt amounted to 2,125, which was the largest number in Africa. Moreover, around 61 percent of them were from the most populous country in Africa, Nigeria. Furthermore, Senegal and Mali followed with 210 and 117 students, respectively.
