Egyptian tertiary students studying in Sub-Saharan Africa
The number of Egyptian students at the tertiary level studying abroad was estimated at 38,667 in 2018. Of these, 71 students were registered in educational institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa, the highest value over the last ten years. It also represented an increase of four students compared to 2017. Overall, the number of internationally outbound Egyptian students in Sub-Saharan Africa has been on the rise since 2000.
