Egyptian students in tertiary education abroad in East Asia and the Pacific 2000-2017
The number of Egyptian students at the tertiary level studying abroad was estimated at 34,759 in 2017. Of those, 2,151 students were registered in education institutions in East Asia and the Pacific, which was the highest value in the period under review. It also represented an increment of 64 students compared to 2016. Since 2000, the number of internationally outbound Egyptian students in East Asia and the Pacific has been on the rise.
