Gender parity index for gross secondary school enrollment in Egypt 2000-2019
In 2019, the Gender Parity Index (GPI) for gross enrollment in secondary education in Egypt amounted to 0.99. This indicates that slightly more males were enrolled in secondary education. Throughout the observed period, males were more advantaged in learning opportunities than females, except in 2014 when both genders were equally favored.
