Whereas 42 percent of the participants stated that neither party found living with parents after lower among women than men.

Gender distribution: male accounted for 41 percent and female 59 percent;
Regions: about 81.5 percent of respondents were from first-tier, new first-tier and second-tier cities;
Marriage status: married respondents accounted for 52.5 percent and unmarried 47.5 percent, of which 24.3 percent were single and 22 percent were in relationships;
Income: about 92.8 percent earned less than 20,000 yuan per month after tax, of which 44.1 percent accounted for between 5,000 and 10,000 yuan (one yuan equals approximately 0.15 U.S. dollars and 0.13 euros as of August 2021).
