Number of foreign students in Egypt 2020, by region
There were 34,198 foreign students in Egypt as of 2020, of which 16,390 were from East Asia and the Pacific, the largest region. Sub-Saharan Africa and the Arab states followed with 3,271 and 1,763 students, respectively. It is worth noting that around 10,700 students were counted as being from unknown regions.
