Overall, the number of international tourist arrivals in France reached 100 million in 2023, the highest figure reported by the country to date.

In 2023, the total contribution of travel and tourism to France's GDP amounted to nearly 250 billion euros, growing by roughly four percent from 2019. Similarly, travel and tourism's total contribution to employment in France surpassed pre-pandemic levels, with these industries generating, directly and indirectly, almost three million jobs in 2023.
