According to a survey conducted in 2020 among residents in Hong Kong, 71 percent of respondents have purchased critical illness or health insurance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Around 18 percent of respondents found themselves sufficiently insured.

* The respondents were organized into four age groups that range from 20 to 24, 25 to 34, 35 to 44 and 45 to 54 years. For each of the target age groups, at least 375 respondents were considered.
