Net flow of Moroccan outward direct investments 2010-2021

In the first quarter of 2021, the net flow of Moroccan direct investments abroad amounted to slightly over 1.5 billion Moroccan dirhams (MAD), roughly 166.7 million U.S. dollars. In the preceding year, the value reached around 4.7 billion MAD (approximately 522.2 million U.S. dollars), decreasing from the peak of nearly 9.9 billion MAD (approximately 1.1 billion U.S. dollars) achieved in 2017. Overall, as of the first quarter of 2021, Moroccan outward direct investments had accumulated an income of around 3.8 billion MAD, roughly 423 million U.S. dollars.
