Share of phishing e-mails in 2022, by secure e-mail gateway

Secure e-mail gateways (SEGs) are not always foolproof. In 2022, it was found that seven in ten phishing e-mails received via FortiNet were credential phishing e-mails. Meanwhile, 11 percent of phishing e-mails received via Google contained malware compared to 63 percent of credential phishing.
