Increase in telehealth apps downloads during the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S. 2020

During March and April 2020 (classed as the peak pandemic lockdown months), the app BCBSM online visits increased downloads by over 42 percent in the U.S., the highest growth of any telehealth app. Furthermore, Telehealth by SimplePractice saw an increase in downloads of over 41.5 percent in March and April 2020.
