In a survey conducted in February 2021, 15 percent of respondents indicated that they thought the majority of the police force was corrupt. This means that a greater percentage of the people trusted the police, as reported in the same survey. In terms of corruption, the level of mistrust in the police force decreased throughout the period under study. For instance, in 2013, 37 percent of the respondents indicated that this institution was corrupt in their services.

In this survey conducted in February 2021, respondents were asked the following question:
"To what extent do you trust each of the following institutions, or have you not heard enough about it to decide?" (A quel point faites-vous confiance à chacune des institutions suivantes, ou n’en avez‑vous pas suffisamment entendu parler pour vous prononcer?)
