Total domestic travel expenditure in Great Britain 2019-2022
Total domestic travel spending in Great Britain amounted to nearly 80 billion British pounds in 2022. The largest share of this expenditure came from domestic day trips, which totaled 45 billion British pounds; however, this was nearly a third less than the 2019 figure. Conversely, spending on domestic overnight trips in Great Britain was around a third higher in 2022 than in 2019, reaching 32.9 billion British pounds.
