Gender breakdown of VC partners in the U.S. 2020
As of 2020, there was very little gender diversity among venture capital (VC) partners in the United States. The vast majority of venture partners in the U.S. were male: a total of 95.1 percent. Female VC partners accounted for less than five percent of all venture partners in the U.S. that year. It is also worth noting that of the proportion of venture partners that were women, majority of them were concentrated in a few specific regions in the U.S., rather than being spread throughout the country.
