Cyber security attack impact on businesses worldwide 2021
In 2021, 47 percent of respondents indicated that cyber security attacks caused work interruptions and/or production downtime in affected departments. Loss of personally identifiable customer information took the second place with 46 percent. Notably, with 58 percent, respondents from wholesale and retail companies were most likely to report loss of PII.
