COVID-19 pandemic impact on life aspects in G7 countries 2021, by country

The COVID-19 pandemic, and the measures taken by governments around the world to contain it, had a huge impact on individuals' lives. According to a survey conducted in April 2021 in countries belonging to the G7 group, around 72 percent of the respondents were negatively affected by the pandemic in terms of their psychological health. Moreover, the pandemic affected professional ambitions and physical health for 65 percent of the respondents, while it had an impact on the personal economic situation of 63 percent of them. According to the survey, Italians have been particularly affected in each area compared to the average across the seven countries. Moreover, people in Canada seem to have suffered more than others in terms of their physical health.
