Opinion on student athletes profiting from autographs in the U.S. in 2022
Some students who play college sports in the United States attend autograph or trading card signings, and profit from these events. During a survey conducted in the U.S. in 2022, 55 percent of respondents stated that they thought student athletes should be allowed to profit from autograph and trading card signings. Meanwhile, 25 percent of respondents thought this should not be allowed.
