The digital drone pilot license app from the Civil Aviation Administration of China recorded a total of 1.83 million flight hours in 2020. In 2018, the aviation regulatory body published a digital drone operator license for the smartphone. The application allows pilots to track their flight hours. In China, every drone over 250 grams has to register with the relevant authorities.
