Mobile video calls usage reach worldwide 2023, by region
During the fourth quarter of 2023, Nigeria was the region with the highest share of people making video calls using their mobile devices worldwide, with 58.5 percent of internet users reporting doing so on a monthly basis. Internet users located in the South Africa followed, reporting a mobile video calls reach of 55.8 b percent in the examined period. Overall, 35.6 percent of internet users worldwide reported making video calls using their mobile devices and smartphones in the examined period.
