Trade balance of primary processed wood products in West Africa 2011-2020, by country

Between 2011 and 2020, primary processed wood products in West Africa attained a positive trade balance of over seven billion U.S. dollars. Of this, Ghana registered the highest surplus, at roughly 2.6 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Cote d'Ivoire at slightly over two billion U.S. dollars. Overall, roundwood was the wood type with the highest surplus in the sum of primary processed wood product exports and imports in West Africa, at 5.2 billion U.S. dollars.
