Quarterly confidence index in both economy and fleet leasing in the UK 2019-2021

For the first time in a year, UK leasing companies in 2021 were more positive towards the future than companies measured in the overall CBI confidence index. The CBI indicator - which measures whether the opinion of UK businesses in general on the state of the country's economy for the next six months - dropped in early 2021, as labor shortages and supply problems were expected to impact output. This was the opposite for leasing companies, where confidence levels increased to the highest level since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
