Number of visitors at nature parks in Japan 2022, by type of park
In 2022, the number of visitors at national parks in Japan amounted to approximately 270.09 million people. The Ministry of the Environment in Japan (MOE) distinguishes between three types of parks: national parks, quasi-national parks, and prefectural nature parks. In total, Japan's nature parks registered around 682.83 million visits in that year.
