Number of satellite offices opened with government involvement FY 2021, by prefecture
As of the fiscal year 2021, there were 110 satellite offices in Hokkaido Prefecture in Japan which had been established with the involvement of local governments. More than 500 satellite offices were newly set up with the involvement of municipalities across the country during fiscal 2021. The promotion of satellite office openings in rural areas is a regional revitalization measure guided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
