According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2022, around 63.9 percent of respondents stated that the reason for not establishing new information security departments in their organizations is the lack of budget or manpower. South Korea has one of the leading e-government systems in the world, but has relatively few information security personnel in the public sector.
