Number of Al-Azhar teaching staff in Egypt 2019/2020, by educational level
The total number of Al-Azhar teaching staff in Egypt amounted to 162,978 in the academic year 2019/2020. Of these, the majority provided education to primary schooling with over 73.8 thousand instructors. Moreover, around 42.8 thousand taught preparatory level schooling, while approximately 41.5 thousand educational employees lectured secondary level students.
