Government funding for Olympic athletes public opinion June 2021, by country
The Olympics are watched by millions of sports fans around the world, and Olympic athletes can become household names. In a survey among adults worldwide in 2021, 67 percent of all respondents surveyed stated that they believed government funding should be used to support Olympic athletes. China and India were the countries with the highest level of agreement that Olympic athletes should be supported with government funding.
