Approximately 1.7 gigawatts were added to Spain's installed solar PV capacity for self-consumption in 2023. From these, 372 megawatts were residential installations, whereas 1,020 megawatts were industrial. The capacity additions decreased across all sectors that year, when compared to 2022.
