That year, nearly 81 percent of available hotel beds in the country were occupied. Overall, Angola has been recording a decrease in the number of international visitors. As of 2019, 218 thousand tourist arrivals were registered in the country.

The net occupancy rate of bed-places is obtained by dividing the total number of overnight stays by the number of the bed places on offer (excluding extra beds) and the number of days when the bed-places are actually available for use (net of temporary closures).".
