Certainty of renters in the U.S. to pay next monthly rent in 2021
Majority of the renters in the United States were confident in their ability to pay the next month’s rent as of June and July 2021, with over 25 million renters being highly confident that they would be able to pay their rent. However close to 4.9 million renters had no confidence that they would be able to pay the next month’s rent and 620,000 planned to defer their payments.
The vast majority of homeowners were also confident in making next month's mortgage payment.
