According to a June 2021 study, seven in ten surveyed U.S. art dealers experienced a decrease in sales in 2020 over the previous year, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Meanwhile, 77 percent of the survey sample also reported a drop in expenses during the pandemic.
