Around 8.8 million adults in Kenya were fully vaccinated against the coronavirus (COVID-19) as of July 17, 2022. In the country's capital, Nairobi, over 1.5 million individuals have completed the immunization, the highest number among Kenyan counties. The cumulative number of people diagnosed with the virus reached over 325,000 in the country. Overall, more than 19 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, including first and second doses, were already distributed in Kenya.
